The Labradoodle Story

The Australian Labradoodle was developed initially to address the need for an allergy friendly non-shedding guide dog.  As interest increased, Australian breeders Angela Rutland-Manners and Beverly Rutland-Manners carefully infused other breeds to develop a friendly, intelligent, agile dog with sound temperament. Australian Labradoodles are used in several different capacities as service/assistance dogs, therapy dogs, and for sports and agility training.

Nutmeg Labradoodles is breeding multigenerational Australian Labradoodles.  These dogs will range from the mini-medium size in height and weight. Mini Australian Labradoodles range from 14-16 inches in height and a medium is in the 17-22 inch range.  Multigenerational breeding helps assure the allergy/asthma friendly and non-shedding qualities of this breed.   As with any living creature, we cannot assure that every pup born will be non-shedding and allergy friendly.  Prospective families interested in meeting our dogs are welcome to meet them by appointment.
